The research explores fuzzifications of cellular automata, especially Conway's Game of Life. In its classical version, a simple rule is repeatedly applied in discrete steps to update the binary value of every cell in a square grid based on the values of its neighboring cells. The aim is to modify these rules so that cells may also have non-binary values representing their “health”, and to search for configurations that exhibit interesting behavior under these rules, such as periodicity or other forms of regularity. The work includes the construction of an appropriate mathematical model and ideally the formulation and formal proof of the obtained results.
